Those of us who attended the KFRW
Legislative Day on February 9, 2012 had a very interesting, informative,
and fun time!
Our day started off in the House Chambers with a warm welcome from our
host, Rep. Jeff Hoover, House Republican Floor Leader. Afterwards, we
assembled for an official group photograph in the front of the chambers.

Fischer then spoke to us about the ever-changing redistricting status -
an extremely hot topic in Frankfort now! Later, Kentucky Republican
women legislators joined us for an informal Q&A session. After all the
activities in the House Chambers, KFRW women went their separate ways to
have a meetings with their respective Legislators, eat lunch, tour the
Capitol, and finally view the proceedings in the Senate and the House
(their choice). We hear all the time about the news in Frankfort - it is
really fascinating to be able to witness these events first hand. If
